THURSDAY MAY 24 – TIKI SUMMER SIZZLER!
Come and join us for our pre-summer party! there will be tennis and squash mixers, DJ and dancing, Limbo contests and over $600 in raffle prizes.
Award winning Salsa Champions will strut their stuff in an exhibition show and the Margarita Bar will be open all night. All guests fees are waived this night, only purchase you tickets at reception at the EAST or PARKWAY to join in the festivities.

SQUASH DEPARTMENT
Junior Program – RECRUITING NEW PLAYERS!
The Junior Program is off and running with programs available for children ages 4-17. We are still looking to increase our numbers and recruit some new juniors for this season. If you or someone you know has a child that may be interested in trying squash please let us know. The program is accepting non-member juniors for one semester (Fall or Winter etc.) so no is the time for people to get they’re child involved. Junior Squash Academy
Junior squash will be a priority this season at Mayfair Parkway. We are looking to expand our existing program to offer a comprehensive junior program with an emphasis on Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD). Our goal is simple, to produce top ranked provincial juniors and become a centre for excellence in Junior Squash development.
Junior development takes time and commitment. LTAD identifies five key development stages for the life of an athlete. Each stage builds on basis athletic abilities and squash specific skills. As they develop, junior players will be integrated into recreational club programming including house leagues and club ladders. The juniors with interest in competition will be streamed towards Ontario sanctioned Silver, Gold and Provincial Championships.

There are many benefits for getting your child involved with squash at an early age. Many top Ontario juniors are now being heavily recruited to prestigious US universities including Harvard, Princeton & Cornell to name a few.
Whether your child is simply interested in learning a new sport and developing their athletic abilities or they have a passion for competition, Mayfair Parkway will provide the development and training they need to achieve success in squash.

Family Spin (Saturday 10:15 to 11:15 with Sarah)
Burn tons of calories and have your family members push themselves to a great workout and a lot of family fun!
Family Yoga (Saturday 10:45am to 11:45pm)
Bring the whole family and learn the basic yoga poses and stretches that will tone muscle, increase flexibility, improve co-ordination, stability and overall well-being!
Group Training
Kettlebell
Can’t find time to workout? – Let Joseph take you through a challenging workout in just 30 minutes using kettlebells. Kettlebell training is an intense mix of functional strength and cardio that will maximize your time in the gym.
Tennis Specific Group Training
Want to improve your game? Tennis skills are only one aspect of the sport, your general fitness can be a major limiting factor. Come and improve your strength and cardio through tennis specific moves that will improve performance and keep you playing longer. These classes are most effective when done in a group setting and on the tennis courts.

Winter session almost done and spring is on its way!
Our Early Bird Special is now done and regular registration will now commence!
Winter Session: 9 weeks (one make-up lesson)

Make-up Lessons: Saturday March 17th – Friday March 23rd
Note: Mondays lessons are extended a week due to their cancellation on family day!
Our spring session begins Monday April 9th through June 10th! Registration forms are now available at the front desk!

Aqua Fit
Through the use of properties of water, the participants are able to challenge their nervous and respiratory systems. Through gaining control of your balance, coordination, and endurance, you are in better control of the degree of difficulty of your workout. By using the water’s resistance instead of strenuous equipment, the body receives an all over workout while lessening the impact on your body. Additionally, because water decreases the amount of shock to your body it also decreases the joint loading. It really is the best work out for your body without impacting the muscle and joints. Aquafitness is a relaxing, social, safe, and gratifying class. So what are you waiting for? Jump in!
