Aquatics: Work Out in Water

AQUATICS DIRECTOR

Natalie has been an employee of the Mayfair for over the last 10 years. Natalie is an experienced lifeguard and swim instructor who has a passion for her job. She takes great pride in seeing swimmers develop to their full potential, which she sees as a life necessity. She is a York University graduate with a BA in Communications and Sociology with honors. She also has her Aquatic Superviror Traning (AST), Bronze Examiners, and aqua-fit instructor certification.

West Pool Schedule

FLUID MOTION | H2O | H2O TURBO | MASTERSWIM | NOODLE CLASS | WATER RUN

Fluid Motion
A flotation belt is worn during this refreshing and healing workout. All muscle groups are gently strengthened without putting any strain on the joints. The instructor will modify the exercises for those with arthritis, tendonitis, hip or knee injuries or replacements. This class is excellent for relieving back pain as it stretches and strengthens the spine. During this class, the pool is open only to participants of Fluid Motion.

H2O
This class uses a variety of equipment for resistance training in the deep and shallow ends of the pool. The pool is closed except to those signed up for H2O.

H2O Turbo
This high powered aquatic workout combines a challenging, energized kick-box circuit and propulsion moves for a high intensity class. The pool is closed except to those participating in H2O Turbo.

Masterswim
Great for general fitness, this drills and fitness based swimming workout is led by an instructor and is especially ideal for those in training for triathlons. Masterswimmers get an integrated workout and improve their swimming skills. During this class, the pool is open only to Masterswimmers.

Noodle Class
This great water workout is for cardiovascular training, calorie burning and muscle strengthening. The noodle is integrated into the class to add resistance to this low-impact workout. During this class, the pool is open only to participants of the workout.

Water Run
Water Run is an intense cardiovascular workout designed to alleviate stress on the joints, while maximizing cardiovascular running ability. Prior swimming experience is a requirement. During this class, the pool is open only to Water Run participants.
