HOLIDAY CAMPS

HOLIDAY SPORT CAMP:
January 2-5
Children ages 4-14 will enjoy a range of fun activities in our Camps! We provide a low camper-to-instructor ratio and structured daily programs consisting of organized sports games, including basketball, badminton, floor hockey, soccer, table tennis, and recreational swimming.

HOLIDAY TENNIS CAMP:
January 2-5
Children ages 4-14 will enjoy fun and engaging activities, including two hours of tennis in the morning and afternoon sessions and four hours on court for full day camp, which includes lunch and an optional swim. Our camps are taught by certified professionals and have a low coach-to-student ratio. There are limited spaces available and registration must be received at least 72 hours before the start of the 1st day of the camp.

GROUP FITNESS

COMING SOON! CAVEMAN TRAINING:
Train like a fighter, without fighting, in this full body, high intensity workout! Get back to the basics of natural human movement, using both body weight and equipment exercises. It is a creative class, using imitation of animal movement and input from the group, to get your heart pumping!

COMING SOON! GRID IRON FIELD TRAINING:
Train like the pros. In this class we take advantage of our new Field turf to give you that challenging head to toe no holding back conditioning workout.

HIIT OVERLOAD:
Thursday evenings at 5:30pm with Rachel Nir
High Intensity Interval Training is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time. Equipment used in this class creates the Overload component and takes HIIT to the next level.

INTERVAL BOOTCAMP:
Friday mornings at 6:45am with Lora Green
An Interval class designed to get you going. It includes a gradual warm-up sequence to wake up muscles and energize your body, several warm up interval challenges, followed by more intense work for every muscle in your body, finishing with strong core work and a nice warm down to send you on your way.

TREADMILL BLAST:
Wednesday  night at 6 with Rachel Nir
Get the benefits of cardio and muscle conditioning in this 30 minute class that is sure to fly by! The class begins with a combination of interval style running that includes sprints and hill climbs, followed by 30-60 second recovery periods on a treadmill. This class is designed as a cardio intensive fat burning workout that can benefit anyone; whether you are a beginner or a competitive athlete.

3-ON-3 BASKETBALL LEAGUE:
Starts January 2018
Sign up as an individual or team. The league runs for six weeks, with two weeks of playoffs. Games are 20 minutes long and each team is guaranteed two games per night. 4 or 5 players per team. FIBA 3-on-3 rules with referee. Championship Dinner included.

HOLIDAY TENNIS CAMPS:
Week #2 of our Holiday Tennis Camps for Children (4-14 years of age), will run from Tuesday, January 2 to Friday, January 5.

ADULT ITF TENNIS TOURNAMENT:
Mayfair Parkway and East will host the annual Adult ITF Tennis Tournament, from Wednesday, January 3 to Sunday, January 7.

JUNIOR PROGRESSIVE TENNIS CLINICS:
Our weekly Junior Progressive Tennis Clinics will start again after the Holiday Break on Monday, January 8.

SINGLES CHALLENGE LADDER:
Session #3 of our Singles Challenge Ladder starts on Monday, January 8.

NEW MEMBER CLINIC, ROUND ROBIN AND SOCIAL:
Our New Member Clinic, Round Robin and Social is being held on Saturday, January 20 from 430 -630 pm at the Parkway.

U-8 and U-10 ROOKIE TENNIS TOURNAMENT:
The East will run an U-8 and U-10 Rookie Tennis Tournament on Saturday, January 20.

WEEKLY PROGRESSIVE TENNIS CLASSES:

SQUASH

JUNIOR LEARN TO PLAY:

  • Fundamentals (6-9 yrs), introduces squash to young beginners.  This programs teaches the basics of squash and works on motor skills, all while having fun!
  • Active Start (9-12 yrs) is suitable for beginners and those who’ve graduated from Fundamentals.  This program focuses on developing the basic strokes and movement and prepares participants for game play.  This is a fun, active program for kids.

WINTER 2018  SESSION:
January – March

Ages 4 months to Adults. Lessons – 9 weeks (plus 1 make-up session).

Lessons available:
Mondays – Fridays 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Saturdays & Sundays 10:00 am – 6:00 pm

Choose either 30 minute or 45 minute classes. Rookie, Ranger & Star classes 1 hour. Bronze Star 1.5 hours. Sports fundamental program 45 minutes or 1 hour.

ADVANCED COURSES:
Bronze Medallion/Cross Sunday’s 10:00 am -12:00 am (10 weeks)

MARCH BREAK:
Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross & re-certification crash course

SWIM TEAM PRACTICES:
Saturday 4:30pm
This program is designed for swimmers who have completed all of their swim levels and want to improve their overall physical fitness in the water. The swim team provides a structured approach based on training principles and practices. Participants will be encouraged to set their own goals through interval training.

MASTER SWIM (Beginner & Intermediate):
The master swim program is for individuals seeking an alternative to conventional fitness. The program is designed to enhance competitive swimming abilities, improve swim stroke, technique and personal fitness. With proper training, you will build up endurance so you can swim continuously without stopping. You will also improve swim strokes and breathing through drills.

PARKWAY AQUATICS REFERRAL PROGRAM:
Refer a new swimmer for lessons and receive a $10 discount on your program. (Applies to students new to lessons at Mayfair).
