      Family Day Weekend Junior Starter Tournaments – Mayfair West

      This Family Day weekend, we will be hosting one-day junior tournaments for Mayfair members and program participants only. These events are ideal for players with limited tournament experience who are looking to take the next step.

      Each one-day tournament includes:

      • A minimum of three scheduled matches
      • A prize package courtesy of Mayfair Clubs

      Entry Fee: $70 + HST per player

      To register for any of the events below, please email jweissman@mayfairclubs.com with the child’s name and date of birth.

      Eligibility Notes:

      • Players with an OTA ranking of 100 or better in any age category are not eligible.
      • Age restrictions are in place to ensure a fair and balanced playing field.

      • Boys 14 & Under (Maximum 8 players)
      • Participants must be born between February 15, 2011 and December 31, 2015

      Mayfair West Co-Ed & Women’s Singles Ladders

      The first month of our three-month Winter/Spring ladder session runs from February 18 to March 31.
      Cost: $45 + HST (covers ladder participation through May)

      This program offers competitive singles play against opponents of similar skill levels, grouped based on initial ratings and match results.

      Registration Deadline: Tuesday, February 17 at 11:59 PM

      To register for the February/March ladder, follow the steps below.
      If you already have an account at tc.tournamentsoftware.com, you may skip steps 1–8.

      1. Visit the national-provincial match play platform at tc.tournamentsoftware.com
      2. Create a new account
      3. Select your Provincial Tennis Association
      4. Accept the terms and conditions
      5. Complete your personal details
      6. Select “Recreational” membership (free), choose “ON North York” as your region, then select “Mayfair West” as your club
      7. Create your login and password
      8. Activate your account via the confirmation email

      Once logged in, click “Ladders” on the left-hand menu and search for “Mayfair West” to register.

      Important Information:

      Mayfair has partnered with Tennis Canada and the International Tennis Federation to provide members with the ITF World Tennis Number rating system. Participation in ladders, leagues, interclub matches, and friendly play contributes to your rating. This globally recognized system (used in over 135 countries) enhances team selection, program placement, and your overall tennis experience—at home and while traveling.

      We offer a wide range of adult group tennis programming throughout the week, catering to all levels—from beginner to advanced.

      Functional Core & Strength with Anna Figliomeni

      55 Minutes | Mondays at 1:00 PM

      A head-to-toe workout focused on building a strong, resilient core. This class incorporates functional movements using dumbbells, balls, and other equipment to enhance overall strength and stability. Benefits include improved bone health, balance, range of motion, and total-body conditioning. An excellent complement to Group Power and Power Pump classes.

      Functional Strength with Katya Nikolaev

      55 Minutes | Mondays at 6:00 PM

      Build strength from the ground up in this progressive functional training class. Designed to develop foundational movement patterns that gradually increase in complexity and resistance, participants may choose to use weights or body weight. This challenging yet accessible class improves mobility, spatial awareness, and body control. Suitable for all fitness levels.

      Yoga Stretch with Katya Nikolaev

      55 Minutes | Tuesdays at 7:05 PM

      A gentle, low-impact class focused on improving flexibility, releasing muscle tension, and promoting relaxation. Through slow, mindful movement, deep stretching, and breathwork, this class helps calm the nervous system and increase range of motion. Ideal for recovery and stress relief.

      Foam Roller with Serena Vecchiarelli

      50 Minutes | Wednesdays at 1:00 PM

      This recovery-focused class uses foam rollers for self-myofascial release to help reduce muscle tightness and soreness while improving flexibility and mobility. Participants learn how to apply body weight to release knots and tension in muscles and fascia. Suitable for athletes and non-athletes alike, this class supports recovery and overall movement quality.

      Spring Swim Lessons – Spring Registration Opens February 5

      Registration for the Spring Swim session opens for Mayfair members on February 5. Members can expect to receive an email that day with online registration links (please check your junk folder, just in case).

      Registration timelines are as follows:

      • February 10: Current non-member program participants
      • February 18: General public

      Adult Group Swim Lessons | Winter Registration Now Open

      Adult 1 & 2 focuses on building essential swimming and water safety skills. Participants will learn safe water entries and exits, treading water with a PFD, underwater comfort and object retrieval, and key survival skills like floating, gliding, and swimming short distances. Stroke development includes front and back crawl, and introduction into breaststroke.

      The winter session runs from January to March and includes evening and day time week and weekend options.

      Kids Winter Swim Lessons | Registration Now Open

      Our Winter Swim Session starts this January. Registration is now open! Secure your spot early to get your preferred day and time. Ask us about our Private Trial and Drop in classes.

      Splash & Laugh March Break & Passover Camps

      Ages 5-12

      Our Splash & Laugh Camps include recreational swimming and sports. Campers will participate in water sports and games as well as one hour of formal swim lessons with certified instructors.

      Swim lessons are done in a group setting with a 1:6 ratio and include stroke correction, body buoyancy, and in-water skill development. Campers are not required to have any swim experience and will be separated into groups based on skills.

      Lifejackets are provided and will be placed on campers in lower levels and removed throughout the lesson as this is part of the Lifesaving course criteria. When not in the pool, campers will be playing a variety of indoor/outdoor sports and games such as relay races, soccer, parachute play, freeze tag, kickball, and dance games to name a few.

      Hot lunch is provided for full-day campers. Please sent nut free snacks for breaks.

      • March Break: March 16 – March 20
      • Passover Week 1 – March 31 – April 2
      • Passover Week 2 – April 6 – April 10
      • Summer Holiday – June – August
