    • Tennis Updates

      Mayfair West Co-Ed and Women’s Singles Ladders

      The final ladder session of the Fall season runs from January 6 to February 17. The Winter/Spring session will begin in mid-February and continue through May.

      This program offers competitive singles match play with players grouped by similar skill levels based on initial ratings and match results.

      Registration for the January–February ladder closes on Monday, January 5 at 11:59 PM.

      How to Register

      Note: If you already have an account at tc.tournamentsoftware.com, you may skip steps 1–8.

      1. Visit the Tennis Canada match play platform:
        https://tc.tournamentsoftware.com/user?returnUrl=%2F

      2. Create a new account

      3. Select your Provincial Tennis Association

      4. Accept the terms and conditions

      5. Enter your personal details

      6. Select “Recreational” membership (free of charge), choose “ON North York” as your region, and select “Mayfair West” as your club

      7. Create a login and password

      8. Activate your account using the email confirmation link

      Once logged in, click on “Ladders” on the left side of your homepage and search for Mayfair West to register.

      Important Information About Ratings

      Mayfair has partnered with Tennis Canada and the International Tennis Federation to provide members with the ITF World Tennis Number rating system. Participation in tennis ladders, inter-Mayfair leagues, interclub matches, and friendly matches will contribute to your rating.

      This globally recognized rating system, used in over 135 countries, helps with team selection, program registration, and matching players for competitive and social play—both at Mayfair and while traveling.

      Mayfair West Adult Group Clinics and Mixers

      We offer a wide range of adult group tennis clinics and mixers throughout the week for all levels, from beginner to advanced.

      Registration is available up to six days in advance through the Mayfair Clubs mobile app. Once logged in, navigate to:

      Foam Roller with Serena Vecchiarelli

      This foam roller class focuses on self-myofascial release to help reduce muscle tightness and soreness while improving flexibility and mobility. Participants learn how to use body weight and the foam roller to release tension, break up knots, and improve recovery. Suitable for both athletes and non-athletes.

      Cycle Fit with Mahshid Mirshokraei

      Available | 50 minutes | Tuesdays at 6:00 PM

      Cycle Fit classes are an effective way to improve cardiovascular endurance and lower-body strength. This 50-minute session features traditional cycling drills designed to challenge the heart and lungs while engaging the major muscle groups of the legs.

      Functional Strength with Katya Nikolaev

      This class builds strength from the ground up using fundamental functional movement patterns that progressively increase in complexity and resistance. Participants may use weights or body weight, making the class adaptable and challenging for all levels. Benefits include improved mobility, body control, and spatial awareness.

      Nick brings a strong athletic background to the team, having competed in Junior A hockey. With a foundation in kinesiology and extensive hands-on training experience, he supports clients in achieving a wide range of goals—including muscle building, fat loss, high-performance training, nutrition, and mindset development. Nick personalizes every program to meet individual needs and is fully committed to helping clients improve. His motto, “Strive for progress, not perfection,” reflects his approach to helping you become the best version of yourself.

    • Swim Updates

      Adult Group Swim Lessons | Winter Registration Now Open

      Adult 1 & 2 focuses on building essential swimming and water safety skills. Participants will learn safe water entries and exits, treading water with a PFD, underwater comfort and object retrieval, and key survival skills like floating, gliding, and swimming short distances. Stroke development includes front and back crawl, and introduction into breaststroke.

      The winter session runs from January to March and includes evening and day time week and weekend options.

      Our Winter Swim Session starts this January. Registration is now open! Secure your spot early to get your preferred day and time. Ask us about our Private Trial and Drop in classes.

      Splash & Laugh March Break & Passover Camps

      Ages 5-12

      Our Splash & Laugh Camps include recreational swimming and sports. Campers will participate in water sports and games as well as one hour of formal swim lessons with certified instructors.

      Swim lessons are done in a group setting with a 1:6 ratio and include stroke correction, body buoyancy, and in-water skill development. Campers are not required to have any swim experience and will be separated into groups based on skills.

      Lifejackets are provided and will be placed on campers in lower levels and removed throughout the lesson as this is part of the Lifesaving course criteria. When not in the pool, campers will be playing a variety of indoor/outdoor sports and games such as relay races, soccer, parachute play, freeze tag, kickball, and dance games to name a few.

      Hot lunch is provided for full-day campers. Please sent nut free snacks for breaks.
