      2026 Uptown Tennis Club Championships | Hosted at Mayfair Parkway

      Each year, we invite all members to compete in the Uptown Tennis Club Championships, where top players represent East, Parkway, and West in an exciting showcase of club pride and competition.

      Join us for the Club Championships & Singles Ladder Dinner, Party and Awards Night on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, hosted at Mayfair Parkway. Celebrate our players and champions with dinner and an awards ceremony.

      Divisions:
      “A” (4.0+)
      “B/C” (3.0–4.0)

      Format:

      • Minimum two matches guaranteed
      • Best 2 out of 3 sets (third set super tiebreak)

      Entry Fees

      • Singles Only: $89 + HST
      • Doubles Only: $70 + HST per person
      • Two Events: $100 + HST
      • Three Events: $120 + HST

      Entry includes the dinner and party on May 13 and a complimentary event shirt.

      Note: Adults only.

      Registration & Important Information

      Register via Motion Vibe under PROGRAMS (select PARKWAY as your location). Register using the start date of each event. For doubles events, please include your partner’s name.

      • Registration and cancellation deadline: 6 days before each event
      • Once draws are released, cancellations are not permitted and full payment is required
      • Draws will be sent the Thursday prior to each event
      • Matches may begin Monday or Tuesday evening, depending on entries
      • Finals will be played Sunday afternoon at Parkway

      Players should expect match times:

      • Weeknights from 6:30 PM onward (some matches at 7:30 PM or 9:00 PM)
      • Weekends from 12:30 PM onward

    • Swim Updates

      Splash & Laugh March Break & Passover Camps

      Ages 5-12

      Our Splash & Laugh Camps include recreational swimming and sports. Campers will participate in water sports and games as well as one hour of formal swim lessons with certified instructors.

      Swim lessons are done in a group setting with a 1:6 ratio and include stroke correction, body buoyancy, and in-water skill development. Campers are not required to have any swim experience and will be separated into groups based on skills.

      Lifejackets are provided and will be placed on campers in lower levels and removed throughout the lesson as this is part of the Lifesaving course criteria. When not in the pool, campers will be playing a variety of indoor/outdoor sports and games such as relay races, soccer, parachute play, freeze tag, kickball, and dance games to name a few.

      Hot lunch is provided for full-day campers. Please sent nut free snacks for breaks. We also have a new Camp Lunch Menu: View Menu and Aftercare Options: Swim and Non-Swim Aftercare are available for full-day or partial-day campers. Register here: Aftercare Registration

      Swim Level Assessment Open House for Swim Lessons

      Not Sure What Swim Level Your Child Is? Join Our Swim Assessment Open House on March 21st & 22nd!
      Is your child new to swimming lessons or transitioning from another program? Not sure which Lifesaving Society level is the right fit? Come to our Swim Assessment Open House! Our certified instructors will do a quick in-water assessment to find the best level for your swimmer — whether they’re just starting out or already confident in the pool. This 30-minute group lesson ensures your child is placed in the right class for their skills and confidence, making lessons safe, fun, and successful from day one!

      Join Our Aquatics Team

      We are hiring Camp Counsellors, Swim Instructors, and Lifeguards, and we are also looking for volunteers.

      Lane Swimming Etiquette

      All swimmers are asked to follow proper lane swimming etiquette to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Diagrams and guidance will also be provided at the pool.

      Pools are unsupervised during regular operations (no lifeguard on duty)

      • Children under 12 must be within arm’s reach of an adult (16+)
      • Stay off your phone while supervising swimmers
      • No outdoor shoes allowed (deck shoes, flip-flops, crocs preferred)
      • Shower before entering pool or hot tub
      • Proper swimwear required to enter the pool (No jeans, trackpants, unwashed clothing)
      • No diving, running, horseplay, abusive behavior, or intoxication
      • No jumping in the small pool
      • Water only on deck (glass)
      • No food
      • Do not swim if you have a communicable illness or open sores
      • Family Swim: 1 family per lane, max 5 swimmers
      • Large Mats are permitted in the small pool, only in the big pool for family swim
      • No standing on mats, bellies, knees or backs only

      Pool Etiquette

      • Do not take toys from swim lesson area
      • Toys from bin are available to use but must be returned once finished
      • Kick boards, noodles, and dumbbells are available to use and return once finished

      Lane Swim Etiquette

      • Maximum 3 swimmers per lane
      • Lane sharing is required
      • Ask before entering a lane and choose a pace-appropriate lane
      • Allow 10 seconds between swimmers
      • Limit swims to 30 minutes when others are waiting

      Lane Movement

      • With lane ropes: Swim counter-clockwise, pass on the left, stop only at the wall (see diagram)
      • Without lane ropes: Swim straight and remain aware of others (see diagram)
