      Show Us your Skills | 2026 Club Championships | Save the Dates

      The 2026 Uptown Club Championships bring together the very best of Mayfair competition across Tennis &  Squash in a celebration of performance, sportsmanship, and club pride. Members from East, Parkway, and West compete for championship titles in divisions designed for all levels of play.

      Uptown Tennis Championships (Hosted at Parkway)

      (Events run weekly, with finals played each Sunday.)
      Club Championships Dinner & Awards Night: May 13th, 2026

      From high-energy singles battles to strategic doubles showdowns, the Championships highlight the depth of talent within our community while creating an atmosphere that is competitive, social, and inclusive.

      We invite all eligible members to step onto the court, represent their club, and be part of one of Mayfair’s premier annual traditions. Registration is available through Motion Vibe, with deadlines set 10 days prior to each event.

      Mayfair West Junior Tennis Programs

      Please note that these Junior Tennis Programs will not be running during the Easter long weekend:
      • Mayfair West Junior Elite (run by Coach Sulley Dowuona) will not be running on Friday April 3rd to Sunday April 5th.
      • Mayfair West Peak Performance Red/Orange/Green will not be running on Friday April 3rd and Sunday April 5th.

      NOTE: Our progressive tennis programs will be cancelled from Friday April 3rd to Monday April 6th.

      Mayfair West Starter Tournaments – Easter Long Weekend

      One-day junior tournaments for Mayfair members and program participants with limited tournament experience. Each participant is guaranteed at least three matches and a prize package.

      Entry Fee: $70 + HST per player
      Eligibility: Players with an OTA ranking of 100 or better are not eligible. Age restrictions apply to ensure a level playing field.

      Schedule & Age Requirements:

      Saturday, April 4 | 11:30 AM – 6:30 PM

      • Boys 18 & Under (born Apr 5, 2007 – Dec 31, 2011) | Max 8 players
      • Girls 18 & Under (born Apr 5, 2007 – Dec 31, 2011) | Max 8 players

      Entry Deadline: Monday, March 30 at 12:00 PM

      Mayfair West Co-Ed & Women’s Singles Ladders

      Session: April 1 – May 11 | Cost: $45 + HST

      Compete in singles matches with players at similar levels, grouped by rating and results. Perfect for developing competitive skills and tracking your progress.

      2. Sign up for a new account (skip steps if you already have one)
      3. Follow steps to select “Recreational” membership, your region, and club (Mayfair West)
      4. Activate your account via email

      Mondays | 1:00 PM | 55 minutes
      A full-body workout emphasizing core strength using dumbbells, balls, and other equipment. Benefits include bone health, balance, range of motion, and overall muscular conditioning. A perfect complement to Group Power and Power Pump classes.

      Mondays | 6:00 PM | 55 minutes
      Build strength from the ground up with a class that progresses from basic functional movements to more complex exercises, using body weight or added weights. Improve mobility, spatial awareness, and body control. Suitable for all fitness levels.

      A gentle, low-impact class focused on flexibility, muscle tension relief, and relaxation. Slow, mindful movements and deep stretches are combined with breathwork to calm the nervous system and enhance range of motion.

      Pilates Reformer Is Back!

      This dynamic, full-body workout uses spring-based resistance to build core strength, improve flexibility, enhance balance, and support joint stability.

      For racquet sport players—tennis, squash, or pickleball—Reformer training helps develop rotational strength, control, and injury prevention to elevate performance on the court.

      Not a racquet sport athlete? Pilates Reformer is also an excellent way to tone and strengthen your entire body, improve posture, increase mobility, and build long, lean muscle in a low-impact, highly effective format.

      Mayfair West Pool Etiquette & Rules

      Share the space. Swim smart. Be respectful.
      Pools are unsupervised during regular hours (no lifeguard on duty).

      General Pool Rules

      • Children under 12 must be within arm’s reach of an adult (16+).
      • Supervising swimmers requires full attention—no phones.
      • Deck shoes, flip-flops, or Crocs preferred; no outdoor shoes on the pool deck.
      • Shower before entering the pool or hot tub.
      • Proper swimwear required (no jeans, track pants, or unwashed clothing).
      • No diving, running, horseplay, abusive behavior, or intoxication.
      • No jumping in the small pool.
      • Water only on the deck; no glass or food.
      • Do not swim with communicable illnesses or open sores.

      Family Swim

      • One family per lane, max 5 swimmers.
      • Large mats allowed in the small pool, or in the big pool only during family swim.
      • No standing on mats—use bellies, knees, or backs only.

      Pool Etiquette

      • Do not take toys from the swim lesson area.
      • Toys from the bin may be used but must be returned after use.
      • Kickboards, noodles, and dumbbells are available to use and return.

      Lane Swim Etiquette

      • Max 3 swimmers per lane.
      • Lane sharing is required.
      • Ask before entering a lane and choose a pace-appropriate lane.
      • Allow 10 seconds between swimmers.
      • Limit swims to 30 minutes when others are waiting.

      Lane Movement:

      • With lane ropes: Swim counter-clockwise, pass on the left, stop only at the wall.
      • Without lane ropes: Swim straight and remain aware of others.

      Master’s Swim

      Wednesdays | 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM | Starts April 8 | $380

      This class focuses on fitness, endurance, and efficiency. Swimmers must be proficient in front crawl, back crawl, and breaststroke. Instructors design workouts with drills, sprints, and hypoxic training to enhance technique and performance.

      Swim Lesson Registration | Spring Session Open

      Our Spring Swim Session runs for 9 weeks, with a 10th week reserved for makeup classes. Spots are limited, so register while space is available!

      Bronze Medallion & Bronze Cross Classes

      Friday | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
      Sunday | 2:30 PM – 4:40 PM

      Prepare to become a lifeguard with training that challenges both mentally and physically. Bronze Medallion focuses on judgment, knowledge, skill, and fitness, giving candidates the tools to make safe decisions in, on, and around water. Bronze Medallion is a prerequisite for Bronze Cross.

      Prerequisite: Minimum 13 years old or Bronze Star certification (current certification not required).

      Summer Camps | Registration Open

      Our Splash & Laugh Camps combine recreational swimming and sports. Campers participate in water games and one hour of swim lessons with certified instructors.

      • Swim lessons are group-based (1:6 ratio) and focus on stroke correction, body buoyancy, and skill development.
      • Campers are grouped by skill level; no prior swimming experience required.
      • Life jackets are provided at lower levels and removed as part of skill progression.
      • Off the water, campers enjoy indoor games such as relay races, soccer, parachute play, freeze tag, kickball, and dance games.
      • Lunch is provided for full-day and half-day morning campers. Please bring nut-free snacks for additional breaks.
