Guest Policy Reminders

We love when you bring your friends and family to enjoy the Club as your guests. We just wanted to remind you of our policies regarding Guest visits. Please be sure to review the policies below.

Guest Policy:

• If you’d like to visit our Club, you will need to complete our online Guest Waiver and Information form (linked below) to the Club where you are playing PRIOR to arrival.
• All Guest fees ($25) will be charged to the hosting Mayfair Member.
• Upon Check-in:
  • Guests to provide Mayfair Clubs with valid Photo ID
  • Completed Guest Waivers emailed to Front Desk prior to arrival
  • Guests may visit Mayfair Clubs once each month to a maximum of 6 times within a 12 month period, regardless of number of Member invitations.
• Members are to accompany their Guest at check-in and while the Guest is in the Club at all times
• Guests 17 years of age & under (minor) must be accompanied by a Parent Member upon check-in and while in the Club

Mayfair West Summer Challenge Ladder

From June to September, Mayfair West will be running a co-ed singles ladder. Players will be based in groups of 4, 5 or 6 based on tennis rating and past results. Based on monthly results, the ladder boxes will be reset for the following month. Prizes will be offered to the top 3 point-getters as well as participation awards for those who compete in all of their matches throughout the three-month session.

The cost to join the ladder is $40 + HST; registration is free to those who played in the April ladder only. For more information, please contact Josh Weissman at jweissman@mayfairclubs.com or call 416-638-1010 ext. 4245.

To register, please follow the directions below and sign up by May 31^st at 11:59pm.

• Step 1: Visit the national-provincial match play platform, by going to https://tc.tournamentsoftware.com/user?returnUrl=%2F
• Step 2: Sign up for a new account.
• Step 3: Select your Provincial Tennis Association
• Step 4: Accept the terms and condition.
• Step 5: Fill in your personal details.
• Step 6: Select “Recreational” membership type (free of cost), select “ON North York” as your region; from there you must choose “Mayfair West” as your club.
• Step 7: Create a login and password for the account.
• Step 8: Activate account using the email link.
• From there, click on “Ladders” on the left side of your home page and search for “Mayfair West” to sign up.

IMPORTANT:

Mayfair has joined forces with Tennis Canada and the International Tennis Federation to be able to provide our members with a tennis rating system.  Our tennis ladders, inter-Mayfair leagues, Interclub league matches, friendly matches and more will be used to create your ITF World Tennis Number.  Your rating will be used to assist us in team selections, setting you up with other members for friendly games, registration for programs and so much more.  The ITF World Tennis Number rating system is used in over 135 Countries which will enhance your tennis experience if you travel too.  Start working on your ITF World Tennis Number!

Mayfair West Adult Group Clinics/Mixers

We offer a variety of group tennis programming throughout the week for a variety of levels of play from beginner to advanced. You can register up to 6 days in advance for any of these programs by going to Mayfair Clubs mobile app. Once you’re logged in, go to Tennis à Programs, then select the date you want to attend. This class teaches the principles and methods of Pilates to assist the participant in understanding the necessities of good posture and movement quality. NEW! 20/20 Workout with Rachel Nir 

Tuesdays and Thursdays | 12:30pm 

Get in and out of the gym fast with the 20/20 full body workout!

This 45 minute class begins with 20 minutes of HIIT training to challenge the heart and major muscles. Followed by 20 minutes of Balance and Core Strengthening for longevity, this session finishes with a 5 minute Stretch.

Swim Updates

Spring Lessons Coming to an End

Our Spring Swim lessons are coming to an end! make sure to ask the instructors how your kids did and get your digital report card!

Swim Camps | Registration Open

Our Splash & Laugh Camps include recreational swimming and sports. Campers will participate in water sports and games as well as one hour of formal swim lessons with certified instructors.

Swim lessons are done in a group setting with a 1:6 ratio and include stroke correction, body buoyancy, and in-water skill development. Campers will learn to strengthen their swim skills in a fun and safe environment. Campers are not required to have any swim experience and will be separated into groups based on skills.

Lifejackets are provided and will be placed on campers in lower levels and removed throughout the lesson as this is part of the Lifesaving course criteria. When not in the pool, campers will be playing a variety of indoor sports and games such as relay races, soccer, parachute play, freeze tag, kickball, and dance games to name a few. Lunch is provided for full-day and half-day morning campers. Snacks are not provided, so we ask that campers bring nut-free snacks for them to enjoy throughout the day.

Junior Pickleball Spring Session | Registration Opens Now

For the months of May and June, Mayfair West will offer small-group junior pickleball lessons for kids between the ages of 8 and 14.

Here is the schedule:

• Tuesdays 4:30-5:30pm (ages 8 to 11)
• Tuesdays 5:30-6:30pm (Ages 11 to 14)
• Saturdays 12:30-1:30pm (ages 8 to 11)
• Saturdays 1:30-2:30pm (ages 11 to 14)
