Run Faster Clinic!

Clinic Description
Are you a runner who runs a similar pace most of the time OR someone who wants to become a runner and wants to start in the right place? Sign up for the Mayfair Run Faster Clinic. Running fast is a skill. You don’t learn how to run fast by running a lot, slowly. We will break down and teach you the mechanics and principles of form and biomechanics with drills and speed play. This leads to good form, efficient muscle recruitment and the ability to run with less effort. This is where you start – this is how you progress.
About the Coach:
Seanna Robinson has been a national level competitor in track and cross-country and has completed over ten marathons including one in an Ironman. She has been a competitive runner for over 30 years and has enjoyed coaching others for almost as long.
Seanna has a Phys. Ed degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Queen’s University and has coached many levels of runners from beginners to marathoners, to high-competitive track runners. She has her NCCP Club Coach certification, and as a “running nerd” is continually learning and updating her coaching and training knowledge. She loves working with athletes who want to learn from and share this knowledge.

Book a complimentary fitness assessment with Sabine Stojanovich to help integrate you into our fitness area. The Mayfair Athletic Analysis is the ideal place to start and complimentary with your membership. The MAA is an insightful way to address the following:
- Fitness and Lifestyle assessment – medical history, current exercise levels, nutrition habits
- Fitness Goals – establishing short- and long-term goals

Adults Cycling Clinic
- 2.5 hours
- $125 (minimum 6 participants, maximum 8 participants)
- Saturday 8:00am (June 5 OR 19)
- Rides will be destination driven (to be determined but will include the Brick Works)
- Basic cycling skills required
- Learn about the rules of the road – hand signals, bicycle safety
- Explore the various types of bike lanes, bicycle maintenance and gear recommendations

Children’s Cycling Clinic
- 90 minutes
- $75.00 (minimum 6 participants, maximum 8 participants)
- Sunday 11:30am (June 6 OR 20)
- Basic cycling skills required
- Learn to improve cycling skills like starting, stopping and emergency braking
- Learn rules of the road/paths, hand signals, bicycle safety (lights, bells, etc.)

Boxing Training for Kids
Starting May 3rd | 4 Week Session | $149 +tax
Get active, have fun and develop new skills while learning the fundamentals of boxing. Please note that we need 4 people minimum required to run class. Please bring your own gloves.
Junior Boxing Training (Ages 8-12)
Tuesdays 4:00pm with Jimmy or Saturdays 1:30pm with Michael
Youth Boxing Training (Ages 13-17)
Mondays 5:00pm with Michael or Saturdays 2:30pm with Jimmy

New Team Member | Bonita Saunders | Pilates Instructor and Arial Hammock Instructor
Bonita is originally from Pretoria, South Africa, and has recently moved to Toronto. Bonita is a qualified Pilates and aerial hammock instructor, with over 8 years experience in teaching group and private Pilates classes. Her Fascination with anatomy and movement helps her to provide corrections and suitable conditioning exercises to improve her participant’s workout.
